S10 stuff for the OHV guys.

Does anybody know if the S10 performance parts would work on a OHV.

I'm looking at pulley, and 1.6 roller rockers from a store that sells them for a S10 2.2L

Anybody know if those would work?

they should since i believe the only difference is the intake mani, exhaust mani, and the location of the coil packs

Crank pulley, yes. Rockers, yes.

There are more differences than mentioned, but the basic black and head are the same.

I would be interested to know what store you found the crank pulley from for my own 2.2

I started thinking about looking deeper into s10 performance stuff for the jbody. Maybe there's a good cam, or something out there...

I like the pollished pulley... but who'd see it on my J?

i know the guy that runs that place

and yes the 2.2 and 2200 motors are internally the same for the s10 and j-body

I'd be willing to bet if they have a cam and whatnot it's about the same as what we have available for our cars. Besides, don't the S10s have a lower engine output to begin with?

Yeah, I stole your link from the "other cars" section in a post you made.

I like the way the pulleys look... but I'm not sure if they will suit what I want. I was looking in a Mini-trucking mag and found acouple of things for the 2.2 in there. Too bad the supercharger will not fit. It looks so good on the S10s.

Any pics of the blower? It might be something that can be made to fit. I'm guessing it's centrifugal, mounted on the serpantine drive with a custom bracket, all you might need is different piping to make it work, but I'd need to see it to make an educated guess.

When I got the pullies I also got the flex-a-lite electric fan so with the 2 of them together it made a big difference with the throttle response not sure how just the pullies alone would help but they did look good
