I need to know what catalytic converter I can use to go with my new Hahn stage 2 setup. I will be running 2.5" piping with a Magnaflow resonator and muffler.
All the shops in town won't TOUCH my car until I have a cat (didn't know that). A shop even said that it had to have paper work to state that its for a Cavalier or else its a felony!! HA! Anyways....does anyone know of a specific one I could get with a 2.5" in/out that is legit? That is all I need. Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

I'd search around some web sites and see what I come up with. Anywhere sould send you paper work to state that it's 50 states legal.

There is no paperwork saying any cat is made specifically for a Cavalier unless you get a factory cat. That's bogus. But yes, most shops will not touch it unless you have a cat. Take the car to a muffler shop and tell them you need a 2.5" OBD II compatible cat installed and you're golden. Magnaflow is a good source, about 100 - 120 for a cat.
