does anyone have an iceman intake for a 2.4?
if so what kind of gains ? is it all its cracked up to be?

Its plastic, so your intake air temps stay low, Other then that, i dont have a 2.4.
I had one, sold it b/c i didnt think it would fit with the HO manifold. I miss it now thought wish i would have kept it. It was a nice intake.

all intakes are the same. gains of a plastic intake probaly be minimal at best

yea, theres a gain. I had that, and a cheap AEM style knockoff intake and i liked the iceman intake better. The only bad thing about the iceman is its just an S-bend unlike the AEM style where it goes all the way to the TB. But iceman claims around a 5% hp increase.

If the Iceman for a Cav/Sunfire is anything like the one they make for Neons, I would go for it. On a Neon, the pipe diameter slowly decreases as it goes towards the throttle body, which is supposed to increase velocity. Increased velocity is supposed to = greater horsepower.
yeah thats exactly what it does . i found out im getting one for xmas . the only thing thats bugging me is it only replaces the s tube and filter housing.it doesnt eleminate that other plastic peice of crap. i always thought that that the secondary box broke up the air flow and that it would be kind of defeating the purpose to just hook an intake to it.........
or maybe not , i hope im wrong!
