Lumina Z34 (91-95) and if you look really hard, you could get one in a 5 speed (Getrag 284...damn near indestructible FWD tranny. Friggin huge though)
Monte Carlo Z34 (96-98 - when they switched to that round body style) as well.

The 3.4 TDC (Twin Dual Cam) has been out of production since the 98 model year (source: www.60degreev6.com) and that makes me sad. Such potential for that motor, those heads flow like mad!

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.

i want one also., gm has a newer v6 with TDC . think with vvt. on a caddy. a 3.6L.

yep just checked the caddy site it puts out 255 hp and you could buy them with a 6-speed

its not 3400DOHC it's 3.4dohc. Big diff, the 3400 was never a dohc.

www.w-body.com

Search around, the w's got the 3.4DOHC. And if anyone says they're worthless here, Join the boards there and PM aaron about his old car. It was a 1992 lumi Z34 that he modsded (3.4dohc of course) and it was running high 14's on a @!#$ty tune and in a 3300lb car. They arn't slow. Ask around w-body, they will help you, or they will just be dicks. lol

1971 camaro 427 --- here!

Stock... and loving every minute of it.

My friend had a 94 GTP that had that motor in it. It was pretty quick. He beat a Z34 with the same engine in it. The GTP might have weighed less or maybe he had better tires. I whooped his ass though in my SC when it was bone stock though. But in a J-body it'd move it pretty good. If your going to go through the hassle of swapping it, do a worthwhile swap like an L67 or something. His GTP was constantly having problems and he eventually sold it and got a 99 GTP and that put about 2 car lenghts on me in a race with the same setup I beat his 94 GTP with. So.... I don't know how much the weight differed between those two geneations of GTP but I know the L67 has more hp and a lot more torque. I have more torque than the L67 but the GTP weighs a lot less than an SC.

I can't wait to put an L67 in my Z24.....
