Just checking to see if the location on the front O2 for the OBX is close enough so you dont have to extend the O2 Sensor wire on the car? BTW 2200 specific. and is it capable of working with the stock cat converter and front pipe? does anyone have any install pics if so?

My OBX header placed the o2 sensor in the same location. However, due to it's design, the sensor only gets readings off 2 cylinders instead of all 4. It bolted up with my stock exhaust just fine. I have a decent picture in my registry.

I am not sure where it is but you want that sensor in the collector because it give a more accurate reading. Having it just reading two cylinders of one is not good, if the two cylinders it is not reading has a problem you would not know. I think Pacesetter has it in the collecter which is why some people have to extend the sensor.

There are obviously 2 collectors on the OBX header because it is a 4-2-1 design. Placing it in the second collecter would require that you extend the sensor. Now, I have never had any problems reading off only 2 cylinders because 99% of the time, with a stock PCM, all 4 cylinders are running about the same AFR's.

It is all good but optimally you want it to read all 4. You could have an issue with one cylinder, bad injector etc..

This is true. But having a bad injector isn't going to cause any difference in our AFR readings.

well i have the obx but it is for a 2.4, i didnt have to EXTEND the wires, but more or less cut the wire loom and pull some more wire out if it for it to reach, dunno if its diff on the 2.2 or not, prolly is....since the manifold is in the front but i dunno.....
