i just got mine but it has a hole on the very top of it where it looks like something was screwed in there and i look at pics of other manifolds and they have the hole but its covered by a bolt or something cant really tell what it is so the question is how do i block this little port? its on top to the right. help please.
thanks in advance
theres actually 2 of them..just probably didnt see the second one...its where the air/oil seperator box WAS...if you dont have one then you wont need to use it...i think most people just grind it down so you dont see it..its not important, dont worry about it..i have a quad and i dont even have box installed..its useless...

no but the problem is that one of them is open i saw the other one which is in the back of the manifold but that has some sort of bolt on it and it blocks off the hole. but this one is right open i can see inside the manifold i see the threads of the bolt that should go in there so what do i do in this case? what do i get to block it off.
When I got my manifold it had a sensor in that hole, I think it was the IAT sensor, I just went to Advance and got a pipe plug. Haven't had any prroblems and you shouldn't either as long as you use the IAT sensor in the intake tube. BTW, I am referring to the hole in the plentum right after the first runner, if you are talking about something else then yes a picture would be in order.
Yeah pics.
Because there are a couple diff style of manifolds.
I have two.
THe one on the car, has 3 'inputs' if you will across the top between the runners.
And the oil vac fume return line in the back. behind the tb. (standard)
The other, only has 2 'inputs' across the top in between the runners. The 3rd that used to be on the top is on the back side of the manifold. Same input, just its on the back now.
And of course the oil vac fume return line behind the tb opening.
Now, the one large hole thats first in between the runners you can plug up.
Or usually it comes with like a phat air intake sensor.
Either way, you don't use it and the hole just needs to be plugged either way.

yup..i say plug it
...LEAVE NO HOLE UNPLUGGED hehe

if you are talking about the largest hole on top of the manifold all the way to the right (side the TB bolts to) then just use a pipe plug for that.

yes thats the one that im talking about on top between the runners. where do i get this plug. autozone or home depot or something.
thanks for helping.
You can get it at home depot, or lowes, or any hardware store that carries loose bolts so you can test..
Its a PHAT hole,
