the grey piece in the back(look for the hole) uses your socket wrench square head to rotate it, run the belt all around and then use the wrench to slip it on a wheel, its much easier to put it on a pulley other than the alternator most of the time.

Seriously man, considering how many of these little questions you ask, and how impatient you are (i.e. bump, bump, bump), you NEED to go out and spend the $15 for a Chilton's or Hayne's manual for your car. All this stuff, plus a lot more, is right in there.

As for the topic, have you tried loosening the tensioner? 15 or 17mm wrench I think. It's the pulley in the very middle.

The tensioner, do u know which one that is, if you put a wrench on it (closed or open, doesn't matter, closed might bea easier. ) put it on the bolt that holds that pulley on the tension, and rotate it clockwise, i think, and it will seem to release tension. while it is rotated, have someone pull the belt onto the alternator pulley. Run it on everything else first. Then do the alternator pulley as i said above. I've done it many times before. Its easiest if u have two people, because rotating that wrench, its in a tight spot. and putting the belt on is best done with two hands. to get it over the alternator pulley.
Good luck,

can it be the tenisoner not releasing itself or not because I think its still locked or something because all i can do is pull it down or unbolt the pulley off.

I KNOW this was covered in my Chilton's manual, so I don't see why it wouldn't be in a Haynes...
Anyway, when you 'pull it down', you are effectively shortening the path the belt has to cover, and therefore you have extra slack. When the pulley is 'down' put the belt on (and keep the pulley 'down' until you're down).
