Well from my understandment, the studs are connected to the rockers on the OHVs, so if he wants to replace the stud, he has to replace the rocker as well.

uh nope. the stud goes through the rocker. that's what the pivot balls are for.

maybe the 95-97 OHV is different with its rocker set up
...however I don't think rocker studs are main studs
by saying 'main studs' I'd assume the original poster is referring to crankshaft related items

actually, by main studs i meant the hardware to put into the block to mount everything back on it,
ok i figured crankshaft related, not rocker related. i didn't know that about the 2200 rockers. i just know how mine are.

the rockers go on rocker studs, unrelated.
what side of the block? head studs can be found at jtuners.com.
Supposedly they may be trying for some main studs (hold on crankshaft mains) as well.
