ok, my question is, how fast is a 2.3l HO in a cavalier, what kind of numbers in the quarter mile can you expect, because I know a bone stock ld9 (2.4l) runs about a 15.3 at 89.?? miles an hour in the quarter.

On a 2.4 those who have hit 14's have had cams, exhaust, header, port and polish, basically all the bolt ons you can get. Also, you have a 98 and because of the tranny you may not run the times a 2000+ may.

oh ya way stonger,,, id say with a stock HO 14.2-13.9's could be seen, W-41, faster,,,

depends what you do...

as to the first reply.... thats what i was trying to tell him about GM J car's with motor swaps... the only difrence between us and the honda boys doing it is we cant get our parts out of a cracker jax box.
