k .. scanned.. o2 sensor was busted..
we replaced it..( thanks ironman, and jeff) also we also installed my new engine mounts. . holy @!#$ that thing shakes in idle.
now everything seems fine except one thing..
when i am driving and accelerating, and let go of the gas for few seconds and then try to gas again (just normally), it chockes for a split second , like it revs couple hundred rpm then DROPS to like under 1000 and then goes back again where it should be.
any ideas what that could be.. there is no codes right now.
Last thing i replaced about 6 months ago were spart plugs, (not cables, those i replaced 2 years ago), and i replaced fuel filter.

also , are you refering to the idle problem.. OR the main problem of the rpms dropping for a sec when i try to accelerate
<a href="http://www.whiteboy.ca"><img src="http://www.whiteboy.ca/images/whiteboysig.jpg" border="0" target="_blank">
buddy that sounds like ignition. my car did exactly the same thing. First, find out where its happening. It should be worse at lower rpms. Like if your in gear 3 at 1500 rpm and ram it, it should choke more. But once you get to higher rpms, aabove 3000, the chooking should go awaay. Thats a sign of your alternator going, if you dont fix it, one day your battery light will go on, and yourr car will stall. by the way, i just had that problem fiixed, and please do not pay anyoone to take your alterenator off. That was the biggest mistake Ive ever done. it looks hard but it takes 15 min. and it was don right in front of me with normal tools. Good luck.
Another suggestions, is since you got new plugs, you might want to take em out and regap them, or buy quality ac delco parts.
i did use acdelco
also, my voltage is correct, wouldnt it be lower if the alternator was going.

not right away that sometimes can take weeks to show up
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
i dont think its the alternator..but i guess it could be anything
it dosent do it on 3rd speet at all.. i just took it for a test..
It does it when i slow down after driving like 60kmh
and then i slow down for a stop or a turn.. and when i accelerate again it chockes
also the vibrations from my engine mounts i just installed yesturday are horrible.. whole dash shakes amout 3 mm in each direction.. lol

depending on the age of the iac valve it could be affecting the idle (not sure what speed this occurs at)
if its at a higher speed, it might be the ignition like said above, or you might simply need a tune up of plugs and injector cleaner.
my car does that too. is yours an auto? ignition is next on my list of purchases. most likely going with MSD coils. my IAC is just fine.

well i discovered yesturday its NOT at higher speeds.. i was wrong..
ITS at when i am at almost a complete stop..and i press the gass again.. usualy if i press it gently.. it chokes for a sec.
THe plugs were replaced 6 months ago.. and fuel filter.. i dont think they would go already.. i used the platinum acdelcos

yea i'm going to go with IAC. i'm not a fan of AC Delco plugs in all honesy. but this doesn't sound like an ignition problem. this definitely sounds like an IAC problem.

My car did the same and I only changed distributor cap. Look also at battery connections. there might be some oxydation there you want to remove.
