Hey guys, this is my final post before I end the debate of whether I should go with the K&N Typhoon or the AEM CAI.

What sort of power gain did you get, if and when you dyno'd with the typhoon for the ecotec cavalier?

I see the K&N website posts a gain that grows up to 5.9hp starting at about 4500rpm, reaching its max 5.9 at about redline. However, it does not list the tq. increase, as AEM has from there dyno charts.

Also, i see this was using an auto tranny in an '02.

Does anyone have there own gains to share with me? thx.

Pretty much...most intakes are generally the same. Some stick out a tad bit more than others but generally the same.
