You are now making me scared to put on my own tb, (when ever it gets here
)
Beware the Rouge Dragon.
Why dont you post some pictures of the damage you have done and well tell you how to fix it. TB swap is not difficult if you take your time and pay attention how everything comes apart so you can put it back together. Mine took me 10 minutes.
on the eco there is a C-clip you have to remove to pull the cruise cable off , if not you will break the nipple for the cruise cable
it is very common for it to happen , ive got no clue why GM went from metal to plastic for the throttle wheel

i took my time its just that cable for the cruise control. When the thing broke off it took a piece of the original tb with it. so now i have to take that out. there was no way of taking this thing off without pulling that peice off. JDM cav sedan is right. its plastic. i dont know why they would switch to that. i have to find something to take out the broken stuff in the c-clip and put the c-clip on the new TB. i will take pics when i go home.

i used a very small hex key to remove the c-clip on mine
ecopower
i got the c-clip off and still broke my the little nub. So now that i put the stock TB back in and i don't have cruise control anymore. It blows but maybe one day ill pick up another stock TB cheap.

use the right tool for the job... it always makes things easier, cheaper(in the long run) and you get them done faster.
