i installed these a while ago and i thought it was just me but the car did not feel like it pulled as good as it did with the stock springs. to make a long story short i noticed my performance falling off more and more. and 2weeks ago i drag raced at the track and i thought the car was flat because i out ultra 94 gas in it but when i went back to my autocross 87/gumout it did not get any better. so i was thinking maybe those dam springs were not working right so i pulled them last night and slapped in a fresh set of plugs ( the old plugs only had 3,000 miles on them) the car started better and i drove to the autocross today and the car ran better and better the more i drove it. by the time i got there (60miles) the car was running great!
has anybody had a problem with these things

Hey Nova, you know 94 is a waste unless you need to prevent detonation/pre-ignition right? Run 87 all the time. I would also disconnect the battery for like 30min so the ECU can relearn the fuel map.

the car relearned as i was driving and it runs alot better. when i was drag racing the thing only traped at 85.5mph
now it would be in the 88-89 range

yeah it actually did start up better, well quicker for like a week or so but one time I reved my car up to someother z24 owner who had a simular car I went to rev it to like 3-4Grand and it kept on reving to like 5500 and stayed there for like 4-5 seconds it kinda freaked me out it was like the throttle was stuck almost wide open that was either that night or the night after I put them in. never done it before hasnt done it sence

I think that this springs are like hi-perf spark plug wires with almost 10 times less resistance. I don't know how it can be wrong. Maybe after this mod we should reset the ecu, allowing it to know about the hotter spark.
Anyone nottice more background audio noise with the copper-beryllium spark plug springs?
