i had a highly modified cavy that my dad did all the work on, until it got jacked. and it put up some nice stats.
0-60 in 6.5
1/4 in somewhere between 11 and 13 secs
but that car got jacked a few years ago. i was just wondering what the stats were (0-60 and 1/4) on some of the newer models with all the new hightech gear that has been coming out since i lost mine.
this post is pointless

Wow, that s a huge gap.
What did you have and what mods?
There is a list of the best 1/4 miles in the sticky at the top.
My 0-60 is about 7 seconds.
really 11-13 sec in the 1/4? thats like at least a 150hp difference between those 2 times
04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
0-60 in 6.5sec is slow and too slow to run a 13 anything aswell.
A Stock Srt-4 does 0-60 in a little under 6sec. and If it's lucky it might pull a 13.8 with a good driver, more likely a 14.2 every pass.
^^^ yea, my car runs 0-60 in 6.8 NA with nothing but good tires on it. And 0-60 in 5.4 on the juice, and my nitrous runs are low 13's. No way in hell your car would run 11's. Maybe mid-high 14's. And that's only if your not full of it.

those are the numbers that the guy at the local drag strip told me when i raced one time so they could be wrong but i all i know is that it was fast.i never timed it myself so i cant verify those numbers for sure, so yall are probably right about the time difference
i figure my 1/4 was like 13-14.5 cause i was running somewhere over 200hp and not to mention i suck at shifting which slows down the acceleration.
dude your so lieing its not even funny. If you want to impress people. be honest. No one cares if you had a fast car or what it could do. Cause we can all smell the bull@!#$.

so you raced your car at the track, and the guy "told you" you were running 11-13 sec 1/4 miles but didnt give you a time slip?
hmmmmm lol

with the 1/4 time you gave you would have to be runnin at least 300hp or higher.
even i know that and i dont know that much about cars. and your 0-60 speed would have to be near or under 5 secs to be able to clear the 11-12 second 1/4 run

...yea
....
but check the racing forum for the info you want...
"There is no point in looking fast if your not."
....high tech gear? what did your old cavi run, if it had no "high tech gear"? im guessing a low-tech 350ci engine, right?
6.5 0-60 would equate to a mid 14 second 1/4. usually, i dont flame, but yeah, that's not right, and jayson was right in the first reply.
tell pop dukes you want a list of the low-tech mods he had installed to make the cavi so quick, id really like to know.
...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.
what year model was your cavy PhantomGhost? cause i dont think there have been major leaps in the past couple of years in "high tech" stuff that is availible
i think you scared him away
