not sure if this is the right forum but since its a performance part i'd ask here.

what do you use to clean your ceramic coated pacesetter header?

i just traded e-mails w/ meguiar's and they told me ceramic coated parts are not designed to shine...so i sent them the link to pacesetters header.

will metal polish strip the ceramic coating away? what is best to use to keep the shine there?

Meguiar's is correct. NO exhaust part before or around the cat is going to keep a shine. Too hot. Exhaust pipes won't even keep a paint coat on them for too long. Do what I did, polish your heat sheild and cover it up.

as far as I know, the only thing you can do is hose it off--when it's cool. you could also try spraying a cleaner of some sort on it

When its cool i wash the whole engine bay with mean green. Takes care of everything and its just spray on and off. I will warn you though, if you get some on the exterior of the car when its waxed it will strip it off and will need rewaxed, but it is safe on paint.
