OBD II scan gauges...

I searched and didn't see these posted up anywhere so I thought i'd post up a link and some pics to let the j-body community in on some pretty cool gauges.

here's the link

the gauges are a 2 1/16" gauge that plugs into the OBD II port and reads various engine parameters... it displays up to 2 parameters at a time.

parameters it's capable of reading include...
~RPM
~MPH
~Intake Air Temperature
~Mass Air Flow Sensor Frequency
~Mass Air Flow Sensor (lb/min.)
~Engine Coolant Temperature
~Injector Pulse Width (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
~Long Term Fuel Trim (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
~Short Term Fuel Trim (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
~O2 Sensor Voltage (bank 1 and 2 if supported)
~Manifold Pressure in PSI (Boost pressure for factory
~turbo/supercharger applications)
~Ignition Advance
~Knock Retard
~Engine Run Time
~Battery Voltage
~Transmission Temperature
~Idle air Control Counts
~Throttle Position Percentage
~Throttle Position Voltage
~Engine Load
~Oil pressure (8 cylinder engines)

the gauges come with 5 foot of wire and the provisions to plug into the OBD II port. they also offer a splitter so you can run more than one of these gauges at the same time.

just thought the jbo might be interested in these...

p.s. i'm not affiliated with the company in any way and i'm not selling these... just saw it as a new product that may benefit j-body owners.

Yeah it was posted a couple times, once in the interior forum, and once in the boost forum. Its cool, but I'd rather have a laptop and a software scanner.

good thought but 2 parameters is kinda useless. i personally have 6 i wanna see at all times.
Short Term Fuel Trim
Long Term Fuel Trim
O2S1 Voltage
O2S2 Voltage
IAT Temp
ECT Temp

those are the 6 things i watch constantly while running mine (not including the gauges i have) i have the scantool.net setup while i wait for shifteds setup. Here's a link to a few pics of mine I'm gonna try and take some screenshots but its hard when I'm driving all alone. LOL.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.
