I have a 97 cavalier with the 2.4 motor I recently tore the top end of the motor apart because one or more of my cam followers went bad. So anyways I ibstalled rsm's ported and polished head. New cam towers New cam followers. Timing chain I even went with the secret cam. meaning the top end of my motor is brand spanking new. The problem I am haveing is that a few of the bolts for the cam towers to the head pulled the threads out of the head. Only three of them (not saying that like it ain't a problem) but because of this there is a chatter in the motor obviously something loose.
Now what I want to know has anyone ever had this problem and how did you fix it .
