Ok what I need to know is if I would need a EGR Simulator to run a 99 2200 engine in a 98 so I won't get a code or anything else.

I breifly asked the question in a dif. post awhile ago and Shifted said that the 99 doesn't have a EGR but the 98's do, but after some searching I came to think that Shifted thought I was asking about the 2.4l engine not the 2200..

also wil searching I found 2 sites for a EGR Sim.

ok with some further searching I found this

although this post tells me that the 98 2200 should have an EGR and the 99 2200 shouldn't, it doesn't tell me if I can use a EGR sim to keep codes off, or which one I can use.

Anybody know?
