im in the process of installing and, i have a cold air intake ( obviously wont fit) what are you recomendations for a intake, should i buy some flex pipe and make my own?
use the rubber elbow and chop your cold air in half so it will still fit
Made mine out of 3" exhaust pipe but I already had the 2.3L. I don't know if it's the same tight fit with the 2.4L or not. Takes me a bit of practice to get it hooked up to the throttle body.
just chop your intake up, use the 90 degree elbow and stick it on the TB and then make it fit by cutting the intake up

Just put one on tonight........ we used his stock S tube, and a cone filter.... it sits right under his hood scoop (RK RAM AIR HOOD)........ we also used a phenelic adapter spacer..... after 30-35 mins of driving, intake was still cool to the touch.... idi cover was almost to hot to touch.

I still don't understand how you guys are getting your 2.4L tbs to fit sideways like that.
I can't get the holes to line up at all.
And when I do, the tb opening itself isn't aligned correctly.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
Haven't installed mine yet but I had a rubber intake hose on hand and put a cone filter on the end of that a bam. Intake. it works for me for the time being.
2.4L's TB won't fit like that without an adapter plate... it must be a 2.3L TB.
I had mine installed that way originally, but a HUGE vacuum leak.. as the backside was actually open
