Great...you just wasted a couple hours and some bits....
i do not see why it didnt do anything. oh well had some time on my hands and figured it couldnt hurt. Besides its not for some bad ass race car or anything and every little bit helps.
well it looks purty, but didnt do anything for performance.
Go to the wrecking yard and find a late 80's early 90's GM FWD car with the 2.3 Quad 4 engine and snag the TB off of it, doesnt matter if its HO or LO they all had the saem 56 mm TB, the 2200 has a 52mm TB, and its a bolt on deal, just make sure you get one of a car that has cruise of you have and want to retain the cruise. it just like bolting on the stock TB except you only use 2 bolts and your stock cbale bracket, not the one from the 2.3, gave my car a very noticable differance, especially in the upper RPM range, my 3rd gear on the freeway pulls hard since i swapped the TB, if you do a sseach in this forun, you should be able to find a thread i posted about the swap.

well at the junkyards around here, most of the gm FWD cars are all lined up togerther, and the 2.3 was a popular choice so it shouldnt be hard to find. Buicks, pontiacs mid size cars, not to many if any checys had the 2.3
