I have a weapon-r intake in my cav, but i can't figure out where the He!! to mount the bracket can someone help me out.
hey does anything on that intake hit the insulation on the hood or is it all ok?? and what car do u have (yr and model).

i have a 2000 two-door z. it did at first but i removed all of the housing and then it actually fit correctly.
A few people including myself have had problems with the intake hitting the lining and denting their hoods. If you trim down the rubber connector into the throttle body you should be ok. Motor mounts will also help save your hood. I ditched the bracket. Couldn't find a good spot for it either without drilling into the car.
Mine hits the hood too and I still don't know where to securely mount it. I am really upset with my purchase.
i bracket the filter to the inner fender well of the driver side (ecotec)

I just ordered a Weapon-R intake for my '03 Ecotec and should be here Friday.
Where does it hit the hood?
