You will need to get an egr block off plate and gasket as well as an egr simulator or you will have a permanent cel.

this swap would also include the 2200 intake manifold as well, correct? if not, you might want to look into that, considering your have many options for topfeed injectors in the 2200 ln4 as opposed to the 17 lb/hr sidefeeds in the 2.2 ln2

maybe i read that worng or something but Melaza has a 2.4, not a 2200

if you can live w/ the light, all you need (to my knowledge) is a 99+ exhaust manifold gasket..i'm pretty sure everything else is the same.

99 exhaust manifold gasket, and an EGR simulator if having a check engine light causes your car to pass inspection in your state.

o come on someone has to know something about this (event you still out there) ? ive gotta get my car down to low 14's before next month. got a big race comin up . im already at 14.7 just need to drop a few more pounds and grab a little more power . also will the upper motor mounts for the 2.4L work on a 2.2L ? im talking about the ones from RKSPORT.COM? ive got the lower but no upper and it still just isnt stiff enough.

Yeah, I have the 2.4. Here in Ohio I wont pass the E-check if I have the light on. Not that my car is 100% legal, but I still need to pass emissions some how. Is it true that the simulator makes our cars hesitate during acceleration.
