what RPM does the eco start lugging?

I was curious... for gears 1-5 what is the lowest RPM i should have the motor at?

i don't go below 1000 rpms in first through third. fourth and fifth i try to stay above 1500. Those are just rounded numbers, and how I drive my car, may not be the way you or anyone else chooses to drive.

shift and 6,000 everytime, keeps the car cleaned out and running smooth. Not a problem yet.

^^ haha that's right, cars run best if you redline them through every gear, all the time. Actually, that's how most Germans drive, but VWs and Mercs can take that kind of abuse... a Cavalier, eh, not so much.
