i tried tightening the black pump where it connects on the window washer fluid tank, but it still leaks. i called a local junkyard and the guy said that i cant just get the window washer pump but i have to change the entire part like the pump along with the tank and he wants 25 bucks. money's not a problem but he said that the pump is very sensitive and should not be taken off the tank or it'll leak. is this true? is there any way to fix the leak from my pump or should i just dish out the 25 bucks and replace the entire tank w/pump? is there a probable solution if i could fix the leak such as some sort of waterproof adhesive? if so what is it and where would i get it? thanks in advance.
