Quirk on startup

When i turn the car on after sitting for about an hour or more, she'll idle fine for about a minute or two, then it'll almost want to stall out, it'll do it twice, then rev normal as if nothing happened, and will continue to be fine for the rest of the driving cycle. If i shut it off, then turn it back on say 5 minutes later, it wont do it. Any idea's guys, as im wanting to fix the annoyance. Ive been told it may be fuel related (bad fuel pump?)

Went to the Dealer, and they recommended since i had an aftermarket intake to clean the IAT sensor with brake cleaner, and it could be a fuel pump or fuel filter. Went with the filter, changed it, and it doesnt idle as rough, but when i try and to a mini IAC test (ie turn the wheel, turn on A/C) it wants to bog down, its almost as if the IAC is slow to respond, but does respond. Again, this is when the car has sat for about 30 minutes or more after a driving cycle. Any Ideas guys?!

Check your vacuum lines. Mine would start fine, but when it idled it started to go real low and stalled. But under normal driving (highway and street) it would be fine. You can replace it for like $1.00 or something, you dont need fancy hose just straight line.

I do actually, cause its been driving me insane, not to mention the fact i probably would have changed the fuel pump via my dad's recommendation, and have it not be it. What causes the Bosch to have issues on the 2.4? Ive got the same exact O2 in my Sunbird 2.0 with no problems.

it gave me the same problem on my 2.3 for a YEAR ....and yes i did the same thing you were about to do..i changed the fuel pump..the coils..the plugs..every sensor i could think of but wait..wadda ya know...its the BRAND that mattered..let this be a lesson..never us bosch ANYTHING...that should be a STICKY

I was thinking that earlier, Bosch 02 Sensors wont work well on the Quad 4!
