Washer-Wiper Switch and Headlight Switch

I've got a '96 Sunfire 2.2. My Headlight switch is going bad, does anyone know if the chilton and haynes books have the instructions on how to replace it? And while I've got everything apart, does anyone know if I could upgrade the Washer-Wiper switch to one that has more delay's.....or would I need to upgrade the wiper motor to have more delays. The one with all the delays is only $26 compared to one with very few delays for $20. But the wiper motor costs about $75.

Thanks for the help!

Either the switch is good or bad, how is it going bad?

As far as adding intermittent wipers, I dont see why the wiper motor would have to be changed. I did it to a 98 Contour and didnt change the motor.

To get the headlight switch out is easy. Look underneath the steering wheel, the plastic peice that covers it. You should see 3 torx screws, remove them. Once they are out you have to snap the top and bottom peices of that plastic cover apart and pull them out. Now, you'll see two more torx screws holding the actual headlight unit in, one on the front, facing the drivers seat, and one on the top. After they are removed there are just (three plugs if you have C/C, two if you don't), just unplug those and voila, it's out.
