What is this leaking???

Here is a pic of some part of my engine leaking oil. It is leaking right on the seal. Do any of you guys know how much this would be to repair????

By the way this is an ecotec and the oil is leaking right by the bolt head you can see

its not your drain plug right thats allways the first thing i check for . and can you get a few more pic from different angles, that would help thanks

im going with tranny fluid, oil looks sort of different when it leaks. Its probably the seal between the tranny and the motor. One thing you could do is clean the area away, and see if it comes back (its what we do on F-16's anyway) and see if that you have now was an accumulation or not.

/\ /\ /\ Is right clean it up real good and see if you can find the sorce. Just hope its not a rear main.

thanks guys I will clean this up today and find out where it is coming from. I took this pic right after driving but before I drive it again I will take another pic, there is usually a drop you can see forming.

might want to check power stearing fluid levels too....just in-case!!

as long as you have less 100k km your still covered under the powertrain warranty so take it in if theres something wrong...
