I have 107,000 miles on my 2000 Cavlier water pump - no leakage so far. How about you?
120 mine has been going out for over a year slowly..lol i just bought another z24 with 165k miles its good maybe it was replaced before i bought it (hopefully)
The one on my 97 2.4 went @ like 45k.

dang, you guys put some major miles on your cars. i've never had a car with over 106k miles on it.
mine only has 57k and is fine...knock on lots and lots and lots of wood.

85k miles and strong (still young being a 98), i do dread the day ill have to do that or the thermostat though.
dealer changed it at like 20,000 because i seen slight seepage....then i checked it a few days ago and its on it way......with 86k on it ill do it when the turbo goes on.....this winter

'01 Z24......lost mine at 50k.....put another on with the Charger..still kickin @ 25k...now that i'm gettin a rebuild.....slappin a brand spankin new one on....just to be safe....
00 GT 2.4L 93,000 KM all is well.
I believe they fixed the ongoing issues in either 99 or 00 so people with the newer cars shouldn't automatically expect the water pump to be shot early like the older ones did.

I got to change my answer, Water Pump & thermostat replaced at 93,740 KM do to a leaking water pump and no heat. Car seems to run alot smoother now.
Did you do it yourself or did you have it done? How much $ ??
108,000 miles on mine and all is well (so far).
my brother's running at 200,000 miles on a replaced water pump. 97 GA GT. It was replaced at 27,000, he's around 225,000 now.

170,000 on factory water pump. only probem I have had with coolant was the reserivor cap went bad about 2 weeks ago.
Well its good to see that most 2.4's pumps last long.. Mine died at 50K
first time it was replaced was at 60K miles before I bought it.
it was on File.
then I replaced it again at about 150,000 miles just because it was overheating and the mechanics didn't know jack about how to fix it.
I'm never taking my car back there again.
now I'm at 186,000 with the 3rd pump but I don't think there was nothing wrong with the second one.
I made it to 99,918kms, which means I got it change on the very end of my powertrain warranty!

I only got 130000km on my z24, my sunfire GT had it done at like 120,000 kms. but that was before I owned it. Seems to be pretty consistant problem everyone just needs to remember to change their timing chain and tensioner while there in there.
139,000kms on the original waterpump... i hope it last me atleast this coming summer...
