My sister's car won't hold freon. She's got a 95 or 97 cav...
She let someone look at it, and they think there's a leak in the high pressure line ... mainly where the maintance valve is (the nipple/whatever where you add more freon)
do we have to replace the entire line? (dealership wants $150 for it) if so.. could we get it from a junkyard, or would that not be safe.
or, could we replace JUST that valve? that sounds like the cheapest route..
the system is empty, so I don't have to worry about it being evacuated.. but I don't know enough about this stuff... so hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction!
