Due to personal financial reasons I cannot afford to swap my stock rims for black winter rims. Are there alternative ways to prevent the salt from eating away at my rims (01 GT) throughout the winter? I was thinking of just washing off the salt once a week throughout the winter months for basic precaution. I was wondering if there is any spray that if applied to the rim, it will prevent 'some' possible corrosion from occurring.
Any thoughts?
Buy my 17''s and don't worry about a thing..use them as winter wheels
put a few good coats of wax on the wheels (the back of them aswell), and wash them regularly
