Well it appears that my driver side door is loose, this bothers the hell out of me and i need to fix it ive looked over all of the brackets and hinges and whatnot and cant find anything that is loose on either the door of the car side but i can still lift my door up and down a bit and i gotta close it hard for it to close right......ok onto the next similar problem the windows feel kinda crappy, is this just wha ti get for buying a economy GM car? if i close the door with the window down at all it makes a uncomfotable rattle like sound as the glass hits something and moves
i have the same problems....one of the disadvantages of owning a cavalier i guess
I have the same problem with my window rattling when i go over a bump and the window is up, it rattles in the door, must be a GM thing

Good ole 3rd gen disposables. Check the bushings on the hinge pins, it sounds like there worn. As for the window, pop the panel off and have a look.
