Not sure where 2 post this. I put some box's in my trunk and when i closed the trunk it broke off the plastic trunk popper. I have a sub box in the trunk thats 2 big to pull out the back and i cant see that I am touching that well back there. does anyone know how to get the trunk open from outside the car?

Hmmmm... Is your speaker box covering the hinges when you fold down the back seat? If you can get to the hinges, you may be able to unbolt them (mark around the brackets first), them open the trunk backwards enough to either pop the lock from the inside or remove the lock completly.

Depending on how much your speaker box cost, it may be cheaper to get a new trunk lid and cut a hole in your old one big enough to get at your lock. If the speaker box was cheap, section it and pull it through the back seat. That is, assuming that it's mounted and you can't slide it enough to turn it sideways and get to the lock.

I don't know of any way to get at the trunk latch from outside the car.
