the car is making a clunking sound sound when I slam on the brakes and when i take a super hard turn. Now from what i know the tire rod bushing( the rubber part) is cracked and torn some what. Is that my problem? also I was told it could be a ball joint. I dont know? and advise? May be its a complet problem all together.?

tire rod bushing you refer to might be called a cv joint bushing. Not sure exactly what you are talking about .

Id check the rear control arm bushing if i were you as these are prone to popping out in j's

Sounds like a wheel bearing. Tie rod ends won't make noise when they are bad. I live down a dirt road and drove on ones with their boots pratically missing for over a year.

Ball joint is a possibility too, but those usually make noise over bumps.
