Don't Growl at Me

Well I've been in denial for a few weeks but something is definitely screwy with my car. Lately i can hear a growling type sound coming from the motor near the PowerSteering Fluid resivouir. It kinda sounds like boiling or rushing water too. I tried listening with a pipe and a broomstick to pinpoint the location but no luck. The thing is driving fine otherwise. I just swapped the header back in Aug. and the only thing that I've noticed wrong otherwise is my DipStick is almost impossible to get back in the tube if you take it out. I had to bend the tube to install the header.

Thats all I got to say about that. Any guesses on what the noise may be are Welcome.

Thanks!

Near the power steering res. you say? Have you checked to see if your low on fluid?
That will cause that sound.

Good Luck.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

They will growl if low because air bubbles sometimes circulate. Ditto the ps oil level check.
