I have to replace the waterpump on my 96 Sunfire 2.2L. Do you have to remove the alternator support bracket to get the the water pump bolts? If so what bolts or items do I have to remove to get the alternator bracket off? Also would it be wise to remove the overflow tank? Thanks in advance for any advice!!
no you do not have to remove the alt. bracket just remove the alt. and to do so there are two bolts in the front and one tucked in the back. then with that off you can get to the four bolts that hold the alt. on.
