this has been going on for about a month or so, i notice that when i stop real sudden i hear a knock on the passenger side and then when i romp on the gas to take off i hear it again, i had a buddy of mine ride along with me to see if he could i dentify it, he thinks my subframe might have a crack in it, but i'm looking for any insight to this and possible solutions.

my 97 cavy started to do the exact same thing this past week. Not sure what it is .. post if you find out.

One possible cause

Check both your Stabilizer Links first.

They tend to snap and lead to an increased suspension movement.

I looked at mine soon after it made a noise/clunk braking or accelerating and the CV joint boot would have been torn if they had not ben replaced.
