Just recently, my cavalier started with a squealing noise in the right front wheel. It is only when making slight left hand turns at higher speed, or sharper left hand turns at low speed. I can't figure out what is making the noise, but my only hint is that the brake pads are pretty low, and the wear indicator may be rubbing slightly. The thing that baffles me is that it makes no noise under braking... any other ideas?

Yeah change your brake pads.... what you described is exactly what happens when the indicator is scratchin. It will start out squealing on turns, and will eventually start doing it all the time. And it won't squeak when braking.

All you got to do is jack up the front of the car take off the tires inspect the front brake pads for replacing or not.
Good Luck with youre findings.
brake pads for decent ones should be 25$ just replace them anyways and rotors are about the same, do yourself a favor and replace it all.
