When I'm driving and hit some bumps in the road my drivers side door on my 01 cav rattles. Its like the latch isn't tight enough. Does anyone know this problem? or have any ideas what it is and how to fix it.
I've checked all the weatherstripping and hinges. And I looked at the latch and it looks like its rubbing funny.

First thing I'd do is remove the door panel to make sure nothing wiggled itself loose or anything on the other side. Could be a lot of things.
