I seem to have a very slow leak of transmission fluid which appears to be coming from the area of the electrical connection plug at the front/top of the transmission. By very slow, I mean there is no dripping, but I do see moistness in the color of trans fluid in the area mentioned above and on the transmission body below it. I previously had my mechanic take a look and he cleaned the area, after which I did not see any moisture or evidence of any leak at all for about 2 weeks or more. I was concerned that perhaps too much fluid had leaked out, so I took it to a transmission place to check the fluid, they said that it was only about a pint low, which they added. Soon after this, I began noticing the "moisture" again. I'm wondering if this is anything significant, also if perhaps whatever seal there is in this area might somehow be easy (ha ha ha) to replace.
