I was wondering if my idle was high on my 04 cavalier auto at about 500-600 rpm. And if it was high what i could do to lower it. Also im currently running crude oil in my car ever since day one (31,000 miles later) i would like to switch to mobile 1 but i heard it was best to stick to fossile oil if that is what you were using. Should i switch or stay. Thanks

Your idle is normal, and you don't want it any lower.

You can switch your oil, you don't have that many miles, its mostly for high mileage engines.

i switched over to synthetic at about 40k miles. not one problem since. car actually runs smoother.
