Hello,

I have a new head that I need to put on my 2.4L Z, however I was wondering for reassurance purposes if someone on here could tell me if the head I purchased is actually gonna work. I'd like to know this before I start, rather than find out when trying to install.

Anyway, the car is a 2000 Z24, and the head is a 2002.
I don't know where the casting # is, however I did find some number on the head located next to the cam gears.

The currently installed head # is: 24575779
The new head that I want to install is: 24574683-18

The heads from 99 to 02 are all the same.

Whats the diffrence between the 96 - 98 heads and the 99 - 02 heads?
