I just bought some euro clear headlights for my 99 Cavalier and they look great but it rained the other day and when I came out in the morning there was water in the headlights. I hate that. How can I fix this????I have heard that you need to drill a hole on something, but I am scared that its going to be seen from the outside.someone help!!!
take them apart. clean the housing out and then silicon it back up w/ clear silicon
then buy new ones and dont be cheap about it. if you drill a hole in there, your still going to get water in them. all that is doing is just letting the water pass through. if it were my car, id take them apart, clean the housing and seal it back up
i had the same problem with mine. i didn't get any water stains or anything in them, so I just put a bead of clear silicon around the housing after the all the water got out. I've had no problems since.
Well I used a hair dryer to get all the water out of the headlights but didn't get it all out of one. but the one I got all the water out of didn't fog up today
yea thats why you have to make sure you clean and dry it good or else it will continue to fog up everytime
