Over the last couple of days, while in 3rd gear when I let off the gas the shifter pops out of place and back into neutral. 4th gear pops around but not out of place. And now on the way home from work it kept popping out of 2nd gear as soon as I put the shifter there. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how I should fix it? or if i have to take it to the shop to get fixed, how much it will be?

Pooping? toilet paper will not fix it. it just cleans the mess left by the poop. his pooper bearings or synchros might be going out. the poopy chute might be plugged, too. Ex-lax will work for that.

Does anyone have any idea how much synchros might cost? that seems to be what I'm hearing it might be... in Canadian $$ please! Thanks

I would change the fluid out first to see if that helps the problem. Only because it does it in several gears.
If that doesn't solve it you could get a used transmission.
