My engine just recently had the headgasket and waterpump changed, and the car runs great but my when i am driving my guage cluster is going crazy. the low antifreeze, check guages, check oil lights are coming on and the engine temp goes to hot and then it will just drop down to cold instantly, and then back up again. I checked all the fluids at diffrent points throughout the day and they are all full. In fact i replaced all the fluids today. Oil, Transmission, Antifreeze, you name it i put it in. Does anyone have any idea what the hell is going on here. The car does'nt ride and different. In fact it drives better than it did when i first got it. So what's up? I need your help org. Give me some of that knowledge I know is out there. Thanks in advance.

Umm ok. Do you have an answer to the problem or our you just telling me that it happened to you too. Is it ok to drive it like this or what?
Its been my experience that a bad alternator sometimes causes the gauges to go crazy...
I would have the electrical system checked out, just to make sure.

check the ground wire........ i am being serious..... check the ground make sure its clean and tight..... if it is.... add a wire from the - side of the battery to one of the bolts on the strut tower and it will help.....

my speedo does that to when i get to like 70 it will jump back and forth in about 10mph incraments
Check you make sure you have not laied any new wires over your guage lines. People that install new radios have this problem.
SAME THING IS HAPPENING IN MY CAR! I have a 2004 cavalier and the guages just go balistic all the time. All the guage warning lights flash. Its so annoying but its had no affect on the performance of the car. I just wish I could figure out whats wrong. How do I check the grounds or upgrade the ground kit?? I have an aftermarket stereo and subs, also an intake, but i doubt that is affecting it. Let me know if anyone figures this out.
