How do u know if u need new tranny mounts?
when ur transmission falls on the ground

Basically when they are broke, there is no real other way to say it.
You can test it out though, start your car, put it in drive, step on the brake, hard, and blip the gas. If you hear the engine clunk (hard), then you have a broken mount somewhere (could be tranny or engine). Go from there.
