Lets start with this. I am lowered on Dropzone springs on OEM struts. ( yes i will take the harrassment for that). I got a problem that i can't figure it out. When i accelerate and hit 20 , 40mph my car develops and wobble from side to side really fast and then goes away after i increase speed. Dealership replaced the intermediate steering shaft trying to cure the problem. When i get above 70Mph my car shakes extremly bad. It has never done this before but i notice after i dropped the car it slowly got worse and worse along with the ride quality. Would blown struts cause this to happen or what?
and when the weather becomes more towards spring and the salt leaves, i have the eibach prokit and agx's waiting for their new home in the old place of the worse ride ever.
tie rod? lift the front of your car up and see if the wheel moves easily, a little shake top to bottom, or side to side. or see if you tires are balanced.

it's not ghetto, it's "in progress"
Hey there neighbor.....I'm not lowered but my car tends to shake pretty good at higher speeds......
I believe I have a bad wheel bearing in the front, which may be the cause.
I also notice more shaking after the car has been in deep snow where the inside of the wheels tend to be packed with snow hence throwing the balance off.
Let me know what you find out.....

Hey ben hows it goin man? I don't think its snow or ice because i wash it atleast once a week during the winter because a white car looks like @!#$ in the winter. The dealership blames the vibrations on the exhaust but there is no way in hell it causes my car to wobble in the front while accelerating. But last i was there he rode in the car with me and i couldn't get it to do it which is typical. I asked the possibilities on it being a blown strut and he said its possible at high speed because the strut couldn't keep the tire planted on the road. So he said when i put the new stuff on if it contines to happen bring it back in. So i just don't know right now what its problem is.
Try rebalencing your tires, and geting a front end alignment. I.E. visit Merchant's Tire.
yup...try rebalancing........check to see if you have a shifted belt in the tire also...
Had them balanced and a new alignment as well about a week ago. Althought the tires i have are all different treads. Dunno..
