I just bought a 2000 Z24 automatic trans and dropped in a new motor. When I start the car the solenoid clicks while I'm cranking it over like it would if the battery was weak but it is a new battery. I'm thinking it might be the relay in the recall harness. Has anyone experienced this? Any fixes? Thanks in advance for your input.
I just cant drive 55
Well I swapped relays and still no change.... I'm starting to lean toward the flex plate......

When I did my swap, first issue was I broke the one stud on the starter so it wasn't making a good connection. I got a new starter and it fixed the issue. The starter studs are held in by plastic. The other issue I had was I missed a ground that is located half way between the battery and the firewall. Its a small maybe 10 or 8 gauge wire that get grounded to the Transmission.. There are about 4 grounds, the one I just mentioned, 1 on the front of the engine,, 1 small one under the battery tray and the one on the battery tray.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
