My water outlet has been leaking. The original failed. The Dorman-brand replacement failed. I ordered a new Four Seasons-brand part from Amazon. I'm wondering if it would be hard to replace it myself.

If I unbolt the old one, will lots of coolant gush out? Do I need to drain the antifreeze first, or just put a big pan underneat the outlet?

Any advice on doing this job?

Should I just let my mechanic do it?

Its pretty easy to do yourself, you will have quite alot of water coming out if you dont drain it. Its pretty easy just take it out n put it in.
