2002 2.4 4 speeds
209 000 miles (334 000 km)
Trans oil is new, new filter and level is full.
Symptoms
Slow shift from 1-2 and sometimes 2-3.
Will slip a bit if I don't give it enough time to shift.
Slow downshift coming to a stop
So basicly, from a stop, when accelerating, the trans shift slowly between 1-2 and sometimes 2-3. 3 to 4 is fine. Full throttle will make it slip a bit when shifting. If I come to a stop, don't completly slow down and accelerate, the trans is not downshifting fast and creates a "dead" moment where it lag since it's not on the right gear.
Would it be an tired pump or is there a selenoid somewhere that is acting up? I haven't tried with the B&M Shift plus fearing making it worst.

Your still alive!
Sounds like the clutch packs are dead. Is the Intake air temp sensor working correctly? It adjusts a TON of shifting perimeters inside a 4T40E. Also a failing TPs.....because of the slow downshifting.
A B&M could help if the pump is on its way out, but it might kill it faster....
