I have a 04 Cav with about 160,000 on engine... here's my problem. I had to pull my transmission for some work, car was on jack stands for a month while doing tranny work. all that done, tranny back in, Also changed leaking crankshaft seal "behind harmonic balancer". Time for oil change. Changed oil, drove around block trying the tranny, pulled in driveway, oil pressure light is on, along with altenator light. Serpentine belt is to tight I am sure of it, can barely move it by hand, not hand chance to check it out. Has a loud ticking noise from top of engine, sounds like a stuck lifter. Removed valve cover, timing chain is tight, no play, no sludge in engine, a little varnish, but not bad Oil filter looks fine also. This seemed to happen immediately after oil change. Any ideas, where to start?
